AHEAD of their clash with Saints, Peterborough manager Gary Johnson has insisted he is the right man to lead the club forward.

The Posh boss has come under fire, following a miserable 5-1 home defeat against Charlton at the weekend.

The result saw the London Road outfit tumble out of the play-off positions and drop to eighth in League One.

It was Peterborough’s second heavy home defeat in a row, having lost their previous match there 3-0 to leaders Brighton.

And the Posh face an FA Cup first round replay against League Two Stockport at London Road this evening, before travelling to St Mary’s on Saturday.
