SAINTS have been drawn at home to Premier League side Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.
The tie is reward for yesterday's 3-0 victory over League Two outfit Cheltenham.
Ian Holloway's men, who won a shock promotion to the top flight last season, will now visit St Mary's on the weekend of January 8 & 9.
The draw also means a reunion with former Saints striker Brett Ormerod, who is part of the Seasiders' squad.
Blackpool also boast two other ex-Saints - Jason Euell and Stephen Crainey - in their ranks.
The two sides last met in the 2008/09 Championship season, with Blackpool recording a 1-0 win at St Mary's before a 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road.
