Markus Liebherr
SAINTS will host a pre-season triangular tournament next month in memory of Markus Liebherr, the club has announced.
The inaugural Memorial Cup will take place on Saturday, July 23, at St Mary's.
The new annual event has been created in honour of the club’s late owner, who passed away in August 2010.
This year’s tournament will feature a Premier League side and some “top” La Liga opposition, details of which will be confirmed next Wednesday.
The games will all take place on the same day and will each last 45 minutes.
