DEAN Hammond insists there is no problem with Saints’ form away from home.
Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Doncaster condemned Nigel Adkins’ side to a second successive defeat on the road.
And the surprise result, which followed the previous week’s 2-0 defeat at lowly Bristol City, means Saints have now won only one of their last eight away matches in the Championship.
But Hammond believes the club’s record on their travels is not a major cause for concern.
“The performances have been very good all season,” he said. “I suppose it’s just one of those things.
“It’s only the last two games. I mean, before that the game was Coventry and we scored four away. So it’s not a problem, it’s not an issue.
“Any game we go into home or away we look to win and we’re confident we can do.”
