Saints’ winning has come to an end – but they finished up grateful to get a point against Blackpool.
Rickie Lambert bagged Saints a draw with a goal in the third minute of stoppage time to salvage something from a tough afternoon at St Mary’s.
It all seemed to be going so well when Lambert’s deflected shot set Saints on their way but a Chris Basham header and a Callum McManaman goal after a horrible error from Bartosz Bialkowski, in for the injured Kelvin Davis, put Saints under pressure.
They managed to respond to get a point – to make it four from their last four games ahead of a trip to Fratton Park – but their winning home run ended at 21 matches.
