SOUTHAMPTON boxer Colin Kenna suffered a first round knockout against German heavyweight Edmund Gerber on Saturday night.
Kenna was fighting on the David Haye v Audley Harrison undercard at the MEN Arena, in Manchester.
But he endured a bad night, when the undefeated Gerber (13-0, 9 KOs) took him out in impressive fashion.
Kenna (16-12-3, 7 KOs) went down after a powerful right hand to the body, which ended the contest.
