MIDDLESEX leapfrogged Hampshire back to the top of the Friends Life t20 South Group after a six-wicket victory over Sussex at Hove tonight.
The hosts batted first and made 148-7 but Joe Denly’s 51 helped Middlesex pass the finishing line for the loss of just four wickets.
Holders Hampshire are one point behind in second place but they do have three games in hand over their London rivals.
