Hampshire will give Neil McKenzie a late fitness test before tomorrow night's Friends Life t20 match against Surrey at The Oval.
McKenzie missed last Sunday's seven-wicket win against Middlesex and this week's LV County Championship match against Kent with a thigh strain.
Hampshire manager Giles White said: "We're hopeful but Macca's 50/50 at this stage."
Ireland star Kevin O’Brien comes straight into Surrey's squad having signed for the next three games in the competition.
Surrey's four-match winning streak ended with an eight-wicket defeat against Essex on Monday.
