Hampshire top the Friends Life T20 South Group table after a convincing seven wicket win at Surrey.
A bumper Friday night crowd at the Kia Oval were left disappointed as Hampshire coasted to victory.
Surrey got off to a good start but four wickets in 18 balls was always likely to restrict their total, and so it proved.
They finished on 126-6 with Chris Wood taking 2-21 from his four overs.
Hampshire's were always in full control in their reply with Michael Carberry contributing 25 at the top of the order, Jimmy Adams 30 and Sean Ervine and Liam Dawson seeing them home with 28 not out and 24 not out respectively.
Hampshire now face bottom of the table Kent at the Ageas Bowl on Sunday.
