Michael Carberry has been named in England's T20 squad to face Australia at The Ageas Bowl later this month.

Danny Briggs is also included in a 13-man squad that plays two short format matches against Australia, at the Ageas Bowl on August 29 and at Durham two days later.

Carberry has won one England cap before, at Test level three-and-a-half years ago, and is set for his T20 international debut after a prolific season that saw him score 502 runs at an average of 55.8 and a strike rate of 142.6 as Hampshire reached their fourth Finals Day in as many years.
