Hampshire have included 16 year-old off-spinner Brad Taylor in their squad for tomorrow's YB40 match against Lancashire at Old Trafford.
The England Under-17 international, from Holybourne, nr Alton, became Hampshire's youngest ever limited-overs player - and their youngest player in all forms since 1867 - when he made his one-day debut against Bangladesh A two weeks ago.
He did not disappoint, claiming the scalps of two players with Test experience in taking 2-23 from seven overs.
Also included in Hampshire's 13-man squad are Sean Terry and trialist Glenn Querl as Hampshire are without England Lions trio Michael Carberry, Danny Briggs and James Vince as well as Sohail Tanvir, whose Royals stint has finished.
Querl was suspended from bowling by the ECB earlier this season, following analysis of his action, so he would play as a batsman.
Hampshire can secure a home semi-final by beating Lancashire (3.40pm start).
Hampshire (from): Adams, Wood, Ervine, Wheater, Dawson, Riazuddin, Terry, McKenzie, Roberts, Querl, Mascarenhas, Taylor, Griffiths
