Former Hampshire all-rounder Dan Christian has signed for T20 Blast rivals Middlesex.
The Australian all-rounder, who faced the last ball when Hampshire won the dramatic 2010 Friends Provident t20 final at The Ageas Bowl, will play against the first of his three counties for the first time next month.
Christian, who played for Gloucestershire last year, also helped Brisbane Heat win the Big Bash last year and is expected to be available throughout the season.
Middlesex's managing director of cricket, Angus Fraser, said: "When we sat down to identify the type of cricketer Middlesex CCC required for this summer's NatWest T20 Blast, a seam bowling all-rounder was top of our list.
"Unlike many of this summer's T20 signings Dan is available for selection for all of our NatWest T20 Blast group matches.
"We are therefore delighted to have attained the services of such an experienced, talented and dangerous cricketer."
