CHRIS Tremlett and Sean Ervine could both be in contention for their first appearance of the season in the Friends Provident Trophy against Essex at Chelmsford tomorrow.
The Hampshire pair have missed the start of the season because of injury but manager Paul Terry believes that one or even both could feature against the Essex Eagles.
Tremlett has not played at all since suffering a back injury playing for England during the Commonwealth Bank Series in January.
And Ervine has been unavailable so far this season with a shin injury, but both have been bowling in a practice net at the Brit Oval this week.
