PAUL Terry has spoken of his pride in seeing Dimi Mascarenhas finally called up for the senior England side.
The Hampshire manager was the person responsible for bringing Mascarenhas to the county's attentions over a decade ago.
He had spotted his raw talent while playing for Melville CC in Perth - the club Mascarenhas and new Hawk Adam Voges have also played for.
Terry said: "Dimi's call up is great.
"Dim's now been part of my family really, I go back a long way with him.
"I got him to come and play for Hampshire over 12 years ago now.
"I am delighted and that's what coaching is all about."
