TOTTON & ELING and Havant are set to go head-to-head for the Southern Electric Premier League championship during the last four weeks of the season.
The pair, whose meeting at Havant Park on the penultimate Saturday (August 25) could prove decisive, have broken away at the top.
Totton, chasing a third successive title, won by six wickets at Alton, while Havant thrashed a weakened Hampshire Academy side by nine wickets.
Alton were sent reeling by a blistering new-ball burst by James Hibberd and Dan Goldstraw after winning the toss at the Jubilee Ground.
Southern Electric Cup winners 48 hours earlier, Havant thrashed Hampshire Academy by nine wickets.
They shot the Young Hawks out for 115 before romping to victory before tea.
