Hampshire's Dimi Mascarenhas blasted FIVE successive sixes for England against India at The Oval today.
Mascarenhas ended unbeaten on 37 off just 15 balls after hitting the last five deliveries of the England innings over the boundary ropes.
His stunning onslaught helped England close on 316 for 6, with 114 added in the last 10 overs.
Owais Shah ended unbeaten on 107 while Sussex's Luke Wright batted at No 7, one place ahead of Mascarenhas, and struck 50 on his ODI debut.
Earlier, Hampshire's Kevin Pietersen had reached 53 before he was run out.
Mascarenhas then took 2-55 from his ten-over allocation to complete his best all-round performance in an England shirt. But he could not prevent India squaring the series by chasing down the 317-run target to win by two wickets with two balls to spare.
