Dimitri Mascarenhas has been called up to England's Twenty20 World Cup squad.
The Hampshire all rounder impressed again for England today, taking 3-23 from his ten overs in the Natwest Series-clinching win against India at Lord's.
Mascarenhas, 29, was set to play for Hampshire against Gloucestershire in the Pro40 first division at the Rose Bowl tomorrow (12.45pm start) but is now unavailable as England play their first match of the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup against Zimbabwe in Cape Town on Thursday.
He is unlikely to play another county match this season unless England fail to reach the Super Eights stage, in which he case he could return for the final Championship fixture against Yorkshire at Headingley.
