Shane Watson gave Hampshire fans a taste of what is to come when he led Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals to a six-wicket win in the Indian Premier League today.
Watson will return to the Rose Bowl to play for Hampshire in the Twenty20 Cup at the beginning of June.
But for now he is concentrating on the inaugural IPL season.
Earlier today, he smashed an unbeaten 76 from 49 balls, including FIVE sixes, as the Royals beat Kings XI Punjab with 11 balls to spare in Jaipur.
That was after Warne had taken 3-19, including the prize wickets of Kumar Sangakkara and Yuvraj Singh, as a Kings XI Punjab side spearheaded by Brett Lee had been restricted to 166-8.
