Hampshire captain Dimi Mascarenhas endured a torrid time with the ball as England were humiliated by the West Indies in the third one-day international in Barbados today.
Mascarenhas retained his place, despite the return of Andrew Flintoff, and responded by top-scoring with 36 (72 balls) as England were dismissed for just 116, having been reduced to 68-8 at one stage.
But Mascarenhas's only over, the seventh of the West Indies reply, was smashed for 24 by Chris Gayle, who hit three sixes against the Hampshire man as his side romped to an eight-wicket win.
