JIMMY Adams has revealed his winter with the batting coach who rejuvenated Justin Langer’s career is a factor in his sparkling Twenty20 form.
The left-hander is thriving in his new role as Michael Lumb’s opening partner in the Twenty20 Cup.
Adams followed his unbeaten 68 in Hampshire’s opening Twenty20 win against Sussex with a rapid 44 in the 18-run win against Surrey at the Rose Bowl yesterday He is now Hampshire’s leading scorer in this seasons’s Twenty20 Cup (120 runs at 40) and admits the three-and-a-half week stint with Neil ‘Noddy’ Holder in Australia is a major factor.
