Fair Oak have lined up an attractive Southern Electric Cup second round duel against Andover after thrashing Easton & Martyr Worthy by seven wickets at Lapstone Park.
Rhys Oxley took 4-6 and James Featherstone 3-16 as Easton were skittled for a meagre 56 a target Fair Oak polished off in 9.5 overs, with Gary Sharma 23 not out.
Oak will play Andover at Lapstone Park next Tuesday but Alton 84-run winners at Tichborne have to wait and see who their second-round opponents are to be.
Richie Morgan (44) and fit again Michael Heffernan, whose unbeaten 31 included 19 runs off the last over, led Alton to a powerful 147-6 (Tom Allam 3-25) off 20 overs.
Tichborne's early batsmen failed to apply themselves and the Alresford side were dismissed for 63, with Tayyab Farooq taking 3-5.
Alton will the winners of tonight's rain delayed tie between Rowledge and Liphook & Ripsley in the second round.
