Matt Perry-Lewis has warned his table-topping St Cross Symondians side not to get carried away by their new found spot at the top of Southern Electric Premier League, Division 2.
The Winchester club shot to the top when Trojans lost at Ventnor last week. But MPL knows it will probably be harder for St Cross to stay there.
"We've got Andover away tomorrow, Ventnor next week, then Trojans three games that will test us to the wire," he said.
"But we are going well and playing with plenty of confidence, so it promises to be a very interesting three weeks."
Former Winchester College run getter James Irvine-Fortescue is back for the Andover trip, while there's a promotion for reserve wicketkeeper Archie Fellows.
"Fergus Haycock is away and Kevin Boniface has a broken finger, so there's a great opportunity for Archie to show us what he can do," Perry-Lewis said.
Ventnor are without Matt Compton, pictured who hit a century in last week's seven-wicket win over Trojans and John Birchall for the trip to Lymington.
Trojans have Jamie Donaldson and Trinidad & Tobago World Cup fan Mario Mohammed back for Purbrook's potentially spicy visit to Stoneham lane.
Boosted by a win over Hungerford, Old Tauntonians & Romsey are optimistic of recording a second consecutive win at Havant.
