Man-of-the-match Michael Carberry has warned the Essex Eagles: "Watch out."
The left-hander will play against Essex at Chelmsford in front of the Sky cameras tonight (7pm start) despite spending most of the Middlesex innings recovering from dehydration in the Hampshire dressing room.
Carberry's previous best Twenty20 innings in 18 matches before last night's win at the Rose Bowl was 59.
So he cannot wait to continue his fine form against an Essex side likely to include former Hampshire star Andy Bichel.
He said: "We're not far away from something really special. We're all hungry to do well so other teams better watch out because we can do a lot of damage.
"What we did against Middlesex doesn't surprise me."
