Hampshire are giving fans the chance to suggest names for the new stands that are on course to be completed for the England v Australia one-day international on June 22.
The East and West stands will increase the ground’s capacity to 25,000 on major match days and will be named after former players, as will the ground’s other features as the development progresses.
The likes of Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie, Gordon Greenidge, Barry Richards and Shane Warne are likely to be serious contenders.
For those visiting the Rose Bowl for the last two days of the LV= County Championship match against Somerset or Friday’s floodlit Clydesdale Bank 40 match against Warwickshire, slips are available at The Rose Bowl reception, where they can be posted in a ballot box.
