Tickets for the Rose Bowl’s first Test match go on sale this week.
England play the third and final Test of next summer’s series against Sri Lanka at the Rose Bowl from June 16-20 and tickets will be made available to Hampshire Cricket members from Wednesday.
The general public can buy tickets for seats behind the bowler’s arm from Monday 25 October.
More tickets will be released from October 29 and the final phase will see the Upper Tier temporary seating sold at a later date.
Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove said: “On Thursday 16 June 2011, The Rose Bowl will make history by becoming the first venue on the south coast to host a Test Match.
“It is the culmination of more than a decade’s worth of preparation and planning and the realisation of a dream for everyone connected with the club.”
Tickets for the NatWest Series one-day international between England and India on September 6 will also be available from Wednesday.
