Rod Bransgrove today celebrates his tenth anniversary as Hampshire chairman.
But in the first of an exclusive three-part interview starting today, he dramatically reveals how he nearly resigned before it began.
Bransgrove recalls: “I woke up at 2am in a cold sweat and with slight panic told my wife ‘I can’t do this, what am I doing?’ “But I had no one to ring and there was a press conference at 10am the next morning! That was it, in a way I was saddled with it.”
