The Queensland Bulls have signed Hampshire's England Twenty20 World Cup-winning batsman Michael Lumb for the Twenty20 Big Bash in January.
The South Africa-born 30-year-old was one of the stars of England's triumphant World Twenty20 campaign in the Caribbean earlier this year before suffering a broken foot in August playing for Hampshire against Somerset.
Lumb also played for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League this year when he hit 278 runs in 11 games, with a highest score of 83 and a strike-rate of 144.79.
"It's going to be an amazing experience playing in Australia - I honestly can't wait," Lumb said.
"I've come across lads like Ryan Harris and Andrew Symonds in the IPL and have had a good chat with (coach) Trevor Barsby, so the tournament can't come soon enough."
