Five Hampshire players, including Friends Provident t20 winners Danny Briggs, James Vince and Chris Wood, have agreed contract extensions.

The talented trio have agreed three-year deals which will see them remain at the club until 2013.

Also joining them are bowlers David Balcombe and James Tomlinson who have agreed to stay at The Rose Bowl until at least 2012. Hampshire manager Giles White said: “I am really pleased that this group of players have committed to Hampshire. They are all highly valued members of the squad and have the potential to play a big part in shaping the team’s success over the coming seasons”.
