SIMON Katich has confessed that he still hankers after a return to The Rose Bowl.

He was the club’s player of the year in his first season in 2003, and had shorter spells in 2004 and 2005.

“I’ve always said that I want to go back to Hampshire in the future,” he told the Daily Echo yesterday.

“I had a a great time there and made a lot of friends.

“It’s a great club with a bright future and its run by good people."
