South Wilts left-hand all-rounder Eddie Abel could miss the remainder of the cricket season – after breaking bones in both his arms!
Barely seven days after scoring a Premier League best 138 not out against Ventnor and then breaking the little finger on his left hand trying to take a spectacular catch, Abel has now broken his right arm.
He fractured his right wrist when he fell over trying to set up the club’s t20 BBQ and is now in plaster.
Abel, whose 385 runs and ten wickets have helped South Wilts to the top of the ECB Southern Electric Premier League, will miss the upcoming t20 final under the Ageas Bowl floodlights and, in all probability, the run in to the championship.
