DAVE Rickwood won Eastleigh’s club match on Topmoor at Witherington Farm.
He took 53 lb 11 oz of carp on pole and maggot from peg 31.
Ray Hayward was second with 38 lb 1 oz of carp to 8 lb on pole and pellet to the far bank from peg 26. Others R.Kelly 28 lb 10 oz, P.White 27 lb 10 oz, P.Clift 25 lb, C.White 24 lb 11 oz.
Cormorants’ club match on the Match Lake at Broadlands went to Richie Yeo (Dandys K2) who took 58 lb 11 oz of carp to 7 lb on pole and maggot from peg 3.
Pete Newman (Sonubaits) finished second with 56 lb 4 oz of carp from peg 27 on dobbing bread.
Others M.Rogers 37 lb 14 oz, C.Mapstone 36 lb 6 oz.
The Waifs and Strays match on Sellwood and Cottage at Witherington Farm saw 80-year-old Mick Maidment win with 42 lb 9 oz of carp to 6 lb on pole and maggot from peg 9 on Cottage.
Ian Dunlop finished second with 36 lb 9 oz of carp from peg 11 on Sellwood.
Others N.Saxby 32 lb, I.Troke 28 lb, C.Albiston 27 lb 11 oz and M.Parsons 27 lb 10 oz.
Ringwood and District’s Hightown Lake at Ringwood has seen some superb 4 summer carp stocked from New Forest carp specialists Heather Fisheries.
Hightown, which has produced carp to near 50 lb, will also be having more stocked in the next few weeks as part of a major carp restocking programme on the fishery.
On The Isle of Wight, Tim Oatley fished his own Monks Pool and took a 25 lb 4 oz mirror. On Tim’s Blackwater, Chris Thorpe took a brace of 22 lb and 23 lb.
