ECHO fishing correspondent Mark Simmonds landed his fifth Amazon Red Tail over 100lb when taking Black Spot at 110lb from Teak Trees, Chang Mai in Thailand.
The fish is the biggest Amazon Red Tail in a Stillwater in the world and Simmonds is the only angler to catch 5 Red Tails over 100lb anywhere in the world.
The fish took 40 minutes to land and took a bunch of worms fished at 60 yards.
Simmonds also recorded his 34th Thai species when landing an 18lb Tiger Shovelnose Catfish.
He took a personal best Tambaqul when landing a 40lb specimen on a chicken carcase.
Meanwhile, Lee Woodhouse topped the weights in the third round of The Snows Toyota Supper League on Topmoor at Witherington Farm when winning Division 1 with 56lb 8 oz of carp and silvers on the pole, worm and caster from peg 58.
