Bournemouth defender Steve Cook is confident his side can cause an FA Cup upset tonight in their third-round replay and make history at the same time.
The Cherries welcome Roberto Martinez's Wigan looking to make it 19 games unbeaten in all competitions which would break a 31-year record held by Dave Webb's promotion-winning team of 1982.
And the 21-year-old centre-back's optimism comes not only from the run which stretches back to October but also the way his side played in the 1-1 draw at the DW Stadium earlier this month.
"We are still confident we can go through," he said. "They've got a long way to come and we showed that we are no pushovers.
"We were a bit disappointed to only draw there but we've got to be pleased with going to a Premier League club and drawing.
"We'll give them a test and it is another chance for us to show everyone what we can do."
Midfielder Harry Arter is Bournemouth's only potential doubt for the sold-out visit of the top-flight strugglers. The 23-year-old was withdrawn in the 1-1 draw against Swindon on Saturday with a tight hamstring and will be assessed.
Manager Eddie Howe also looks likely to rotate his goalkeepers once more. Shwan Jalal has been a regular in the cup competitions this season and the 29-year-old looks likely to get the nod instead of former England international David James, a player seven years older than his manager.
Top-scorer Lewis Grabban was a big doubt for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Swindon due to illness but the striker played for 90 minutes against the Robins and is set to retain his place.
Fellow striker Wes Thomas, back with the club following a loan spell at Blackpool, made his first appearance for other two months for the Cherries on Saturday and could feature on the bench again.
Victory for Bournemouth, who overcame Dagenham and Carlisle to reach this stage, would set up a trip to Macclesfield later this month and pocket the club £67,500 in prize money.
