Winchester showed the character, commitment and ability missing in previous weeks to crush Gosport & Fareham 39-10 at Nuns Road last Saturday - half back Andy Ashwin orchestrating the carnage.
Simon Rogers soon had Winchester on the board. Simon Farrington followed, running round under the posts to give Ashwin an easy conversion.
When full back James Bingham rounded off a flowing move in the right corner the match was still only 13 minutes old.
Two more tries - one from Tom Bolland and another from hard tackling Casey Crafford - before half-time put Winchester in command at 27-0 up.
Winchester's man of the second half was right winger Grant Davis - a relative newcomer to the sport.
After an hour he burst down the touchline from just inside the Gosport half, scoring the most memorable of first tries for his club. And then in injury time, he gave an action replay to set the seal on the most comprehensive of Winchester victories.
