SALISBURY City hero Matt Tubbs is in contention for the FA Cup player-of-the-round award after scoring one goal and making the other two in last Saturday's 3-0 first round win over Fleetwood Town.
But the red-hot 22-year-old striker now faces a two-match suspension, ruling him out of action until the mouth-watering second round visit of Nottingham Forest on Sunday, December 3 (1.10pm).
Tubbs was sent off for the second time this season in Whites' 1-0 Conference South defeat at Eastbourne Borough and misses tomorrow's league trip to Bognor Regis Town, plus the FA Trophy third qualifying round tie at home to Enfield next Saturday.
"We could have done without it, but at least Tubbsy will be available for selection for the Forest game. It could have been worse," said assistant manager Barry Blankley.
