Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has told his players to make home advantage count next week.
Calderwood's side beat Salisbury's Conference South rivals Yeading 5-0 at the City Ground in the FA Cup first round.
They will be hoping for a similarly comfortable night in next Tuesday's second round replay after extending their unbeaten away run to 12 games at the Ray Mac.
He said: "If there's an advantage to be had with playing at home we've got to prove it and if there's an advantage in the pitch we've got to prove that as well.
"We've got to do better than Salisbury on the night."
Calderwood admitted he was disappointed not to be leaving Wiltshire assured of a third-round tie against Charlton.
He added: "I'm slightly annoyed. We gained the advantage and that should have given us a chance, but we didn't get the second during a good period at the start of the second half.
"I've seen a lot of games at this level in the last couple of seasons so it didn't surprise me how they played because there are a lot of good teams at that level.
"You can see as a group that they had the winning mentality but our character was good after they scored.
"We showed a strong mentality and went back to our basic knowledge of the game which was good.
"Anything could have happened once it when 1-1 but we did enough to make the atmosphere in the ground at a level that wasn't going to hurt us."
