Winchester City boss Steve Moss gave a frank and honest assessment of his side's 7-0 New Year's Day hammering at leaders Bashley.
Having watched his side buried under a barrage of goals from Chris Knowles, Richard Gillespie, Ryan Moss (2), Peter Castle, Dave Wakefield (penalty) and Gareth Keeping and seen striker Ian Mancey sent off for a threatening gesture towards the referee, Moss confessed: "We got absolutely battered.
"We were awful and Bashley were tremendous. They (Bashley) have got pace, power and strength. We were guilty of poor defending and they were relentless.
