When someone like Wildern Old Boys' veteran Rob Golding tells you he has seen it all in football, you can't help but believe him.
Because last month Golding became the oldest player to ever turn out for Wildern's veterans team - in their 3-2 Park Scratchings defeat against Winchester Old Boys - the day after his 60th birthday.
Golding came off the bench with five minutes left of the game in a cameo appearance to mark his amazing achievement.
So how ironic then that one of Rob's earliest memories of the beautiful game was a time when subs benches didn't even exist!
Golding, who played for his first men's club the YEAR BEFORE England lifted the World Cup at Wembley in 1966, said: "Oh, I have seen it all before, don't you worry about that".
