FAREHAM Town have been warned to clean up their act - or face being denied entry to the FA Cup, the FA Vase and the Hampshire Senior Cup.

The Sydenhams Wessex League club have one of the worst disciplinary records in the whole of Hampshire.

For the second year running, they have clocked up 100 FA disciplinary points awarded for sendings off and cautions.

Fareham have been fined £500 for passing the unwanted three-figure milestone.

They have also activated the £200 suspended fine which was imposed on last season, on top of a £200 fine up front.

If they are hauled up before the disciplinary committee again in 2007/8, they face being denied entry to the FA Cup, the FA Vase and the Hampshire Senior Cup the following year.

While Fareham secretary Ian Tewson knows how serious the repercussions could be for the Cams Alders club, the message was clearly lost on the team who had yet another player sent off in Tuesday's 1-1 home draw with Bournemouth Poppies.

This time manager's son Louis Savage junior saw red for deliberate use of the elbow just a minute after going on as a late substitute. # Remarkably, it was Fareham THIRTEENTH dismissal this term.

"Thirteen red cards is disgraceful," admitted Tewson, who had the dubious honour of facing an HFA disciplinary hearing last week.

"It's despairing for me and very embarrassing to have to go to these meetings," he added.
