TOTTON'S recent experience of high pressure situations and large crowds could well give them a vital edge in tomorrow's final-day Wessex League title decider with Gosport.
Borough boss Alex Pike brings his men to Testwood Park knowing that Totton need to win by two clear goals to sneak their first ever Wessex championship by virtue of having scored more goals.
Totton are expecting a crowd of more than 1,000 - which would easily be one of the Wessex League's biggest in recent history.
And Stags assistant boss Sean New said: "We have had some experience of these pressure situations recently.
"We played Wimborne at home in the Vase and then two games against Billingham.
"We went up to Billingham in front of over 2,000 and won the game.
"It will help the players that we have played in front of big crowds recently and handled the pressure."
