SIMPLY fan-tastic!
The south Hampshire area is going football crazy ahead of what promises to be a thrilling few weeks.
Saints are challenging for promotion to the Premiership and could claim their play in the Championship play-offs if they beat Southend next Sunday at St Mary's.
But minnows Totton have beaten Saints to Wembley - they are currently preparing for their FA Vase final against Truro City on Sunday, May 13.
Saints yesterday sold 5,000 tickets for the Southend game (1pm) in just five hours as fans clamoured to roar George Burley's men a step closer to a £55m top flight jackpot.
Totton, meanwhile, have managed to virtually sell ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN coaches after selling all 15,000 of their initial Wembley allocation in just over a week.
They have commandeered every available coach in the Southampton area and have now drafted in more from SUSSEX to cope with demand!
