BRADING Town boss Phil Moore believes Gosport Borough are wasting their time sending out a posse to track down wanted' Island duo Danny Hatcher and Dave Greening.
Gosport boss Alex Pike is so keen to get in contact with the former Newport IoW pair that the newly-promoted Southern 1 South & West club have put an article on their webside headed: Wanted. Brading duo for Southern League team.' Sharpshooter Greening has bagged a phenomenal 35 goals in 33 games since joining Brading after a brief stint with Sydenhams Premier rivals AFC Totton earlier in the season.
Wideman Hatcher, 23, has oozed the class that earned him a professional contract as a teenager with Leyton Orient.
Newport IoW boss Hugh Lewis has already spoken openly of his desire to take the pair back to St George's Park and now Pike has joined their growning list of admirers.
Trouble is, the frustrated Gosport boss can't track down their numbers.
He sighed: "My management team and I have called all our contacts trying to get numbers for both Dave and Dan, but so far we're drawn a blank."
