WALTHAM Wolves Cobras finished off last season in style by completing a sparkling Hampshire FA Saturday Under-14s Cup and league double.
Linden Homes South set them on their way by sponsoring the kit they wore when winning the two trophies.
They also gave the youngsters the opportunity to train on Swanmore Technology College’s football pitch – a ground that Linden Homes developed for the school.
Neil Kerton, Waltham Wolves manager, couldn’t be happier with his team’s achievements.
“We’re thrilled,” he smiled. “The boys have played amazingly throughout the season and I have to say they looked very smart in their kits.
“We’d like to thank Linden Homes for their support and hope the club can enjoy this relationship with them for many years to come.”
Playing in the Mid Solent Youth League, Kerton’s side held onto their title of A League champions.
This, combined with winning the Hampshire Cup, has made 2017 a year to remember.
Jo Dixon, marketing manager for Linden Homes South, enthused: “Well done Waltham Wolves, what a victory!”
“We’re so proud of the team and feel privileged to have played a part in their success.
"The boys looked great in the kits and it was great to see them lift that trophy!”
Situated just a minutes’ walk from Swanmore Technology College is Linden Homes’ new development Scholars Grange.
