FORMER Saint Ryan Ashford netted with the last kick of the game to earn VT FC a replay against Hellenic Leaguers North Leigh.
That will take place at the Boatmen's Southampton Road home tomorrow (7.45) "It was literally the last kick of the game," confirmed VT manager Dave Diaper.
"But they are a good team and I'd put them above any other team in the Wessex.
"It should be a cracking game at our place. However, this one will be on a flat surface - their pitch must slope some six to seven foot from end to end".
North Leigh took the lead on the hour with a disputed offside-looking goal before VT sub Mike Spinney hit the home bar as the Boatmen went with three up front.
They were finally rewarded in injury time when Spinney crossed for Ashford, who got himself ahead of the keeper to score.
