WAYNE Bridge has been told he must turn up for England's friendly against Egypt next month or risk being left out of the World Cup, according to reports.
The former Saint has been under an intense media spotlight in recent weeks, after allegations Chelsea's John Terry had an affair with his ex-fiancee, Vanessa Perroncel.
England play Egypt on March 3 and manager Fabio Capello has apparently warned Bridge that, if he does not show up, he will be left off the plane for South Africa this summer.
Bridge's chances of being England's first choice left-back for the tournament increased this week, after Ashley Cole was ruled out for three months with a fractured ankle.
However, much will also depend on whether he can share a hotel and dressing room next month with Terry, who was stripped of the England captaincy by Capello.
