Eastleigh FC have been building for the future by securing Jewson as their new shirt sponsors.

The UK's leading suppliers of building materials are already platinum sponsors of the club and have agreed a three-year shirt deal worth £20,000 per year.

In another significant move for the ambitious Conference South outfit, Luke Appleton of Appleton Signs Ltd, has agreed to become the main stand sponsor in a three-year deal worth £30,000.

Appleton was introduced to the Spitfires by new ground sponsor Allen Prebble of Silverlake Autoparts Ltd.

Another major five-figure sponsorship deal has been agreed with Alan Harding of Briarfield Homes, who is also set to become a shareholder in the club and is keen to support Eastleigh's new Football in the Community project.

Estate agents Enfields will be the club's partner and sponsors of the project to construct an all-weather pitch at the Silverlake Stadium.

Again it is a three-year deal, worth £60,000.

Paul Murray, Eastleigh's chief executive, said: " These significant sponsorship deals show that the local business community is fully behind the changes that have taken place at the club.

"They share our vision of a football club that is inclusive of the community at large."
