BASHLEY boss Steve Riley has sent out an SOS to his own striker Danny Gibbons.
Gibbons has disappeared "off the face of the Earth" since the end of last season, according to Riley, writes Steve Wilson.
And while the manager remains optimistic he will track him down before the new campaign, he cannot continue his squad building until he knows the striker's whereabouts.
"I'm thinking Gibbo might be with Lord Lucan at the moment. He's done a Shergar," laughed Riley.
"I've left that many messages on his phone it's untrue.
"I am actually a bit worried about him because we certainly haven't fallen out. I want him at the club next season.
"He did really well for us and formed a good partnership with Richard Gillespie, but I can't sign him unless I talk to him.
"If he reads this: Danny, please ring."
