RAFAEL Benítez has today left Liverpool FC.
The Spaniard was reportedly offered £3m yesterday, if he stood down.
His Liverpool side endured a disappointing season, finishing seventh in the Premier League.
In 2005, Benítez took the Reds to the pinnacle of Europe, winning the Champions League.
Two years later they faced AC Milan in a repeat of the 2005 final, only for the Italians to get their revenge.
Inter Milan, who have just lost manager Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid, are touted as a possible destination for Benítez .
