AFC Totton star Mike Gosney is dreaming of an FA Cup third round trip to Old Trafford.
The winger, who scored twice in Saturday’s thrashing of Bradford Park Avenue, was back at the Testwood Stadium yesterday to see his club paired at home to Bristol Rovers in round two.
Gosney, though, is thinking even further ahead.
“Manchester United away would be a dream for me,” he said. “I’m a Man United fan so to have the chance of playing at Old Trafford would be amazing.
“But the match against Bristol Rovers will be the biggest game of my career. It doesn’t get much better than the FA Cup second round.
“It’s a great draw for us. Charlton were still in there at the end as well and any of the last three clubs that were in the hat would have been great.
“We are confident. We reckon we’ve got a good chance."
