AFC Totton chairman Phil Shephard has promised the club’s most loyal fans priority for the FA Cup second round tie against Bristol Rovers.
Following the successful staging of the win against Bradford Park Avenue, police and the FA are happy for AFC Totton to host the tie provided it is all-ticket and the two sets of fans are segregated.
A club record crowd of 2,315 was at the Testwood Stadium for the 8-1 win against Bradford Park Avenue, but there will be even more interest in Rovers’ visit on December 3 or 4, which will be worth £72,000 to both teams if chosen for live television coverage.
Shephard has vowed to give the club’s 300-plus season-ticket holders and members priority when tickets go on sale.
